These Giclée prints are made from an original colored pencil/pen and ink drawing by Hatteras Island artist Stephanie Kiker. Giclée (pronounced zhee-clay) is a French term which means “spraying of ink” and is a form of fine art reproduction where art meets technology. Using a high resolution scan of the original art, a Gicleé is made by spraying tiny droplets of archival ink onto fine art papers and canvas. This precise method produces much truer prints and greater life spans than any other printing method. Gicleé printing has provided me with the highest quality reproductions of my art, while allowing me full control of the creative process. These open edition Giclée prints are printed on an Enhanced Matte Fine Art Paper with a white border around the image. The print size includes this border. Prints are shipped in a clear plastic bag on foam core.
